Top Vegetables for Weight Loss

Fresh vegetables are highly nutritious for our body. Food consumption without vegetables or greens may not be considered as good and healthy meal. Here vegetables that helps for weight loss. If you include these vegetables in your diet list, it will greatly help you to get good results during your targeted weight loss program.

Cucumber : Cucumber has high fiber contents. It is more helpful for weight loss process. Cucumber not only helps to clean the digestive path, it also helps to increase metabolism which produces energy for reducing weight. Cucumbers are very low in calories. 1 cup of sliced cucumbers contains only about 13.52 calories. Water content and nutrients present in the cucumber will satisfy your food needs for a breakfast or dinner, without adding extra calories. It can also taken as snacks by adding other colorful vegetable pieces like carrot, cabbage, onion, tomato or fruits like papaya, grapes or with some Olive Oil leaves. It is very important to restore ph value. It will balance the ph value of blood. Cucumber hydrates body very well.

Radish : Radishes have low calories it can be taken as raw by adding little pepper and salt. Consuming it fresh will add more goodness to health. It has rich fiber and helps to reduce body weight. Radish lowers cholesterol level of the body by giving low density lipoproteins. Nutrient rich radish makes your stomach feel full for a longer time. 1 cup of radish contains only 24 calories. Adding radish in your regular food list helps you to reduce or maintain body weight. About 25 to 38 grams of radish is suggested for adults.

Cabbage : Cabbage can be taken in more amounts as it is low in calories. Like radish it also posses high fiber content in it. Ample amount of protein, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin A, vitamin c are present in cabbage. Sulfur, folic acid and some other nutrients also present in cabbage. Calorie low cabbage can be taken as a daily diet food. It can be prepared in many forms and can be taken it as a raw food. It also tastes good by adding some pepper, salt and few drops of lemon Juice.

Onion : Onion is one the staple vegetable used in all variety of foods all over the world. It is very rare to see a dish without onion. Onion is wholly loaded with Chromium content, which helps to increase the effectiveness of insulin in the blood. Insulin plays a vital role in controlling weight of our body.

The Blood Sugar Level will be in balance, if the insulin released in a proper channel. It keeps the body with regular stamina and energy levels. It controls the hunger pangs and helps for weight reduction. Only 35 calories are present in 100 grams of onion. Though, it can be eaten as raw, it is more nutritious only if added with variety of vegetables. Take half cup of onion mix with chopped pieces cabbage, radish, spinach, cucumber, carrot and green leafs by adding some curd and salt make it full cup. Now mixture of energy based less calorie food is ready to eat. Consume it and keep your stomach fill for long time.

Usually water content vegetables helps in reducing weight, take in more vegetables and get a good result in weight loss.
